DME Studios developed a unique, personalized fan experience for the Orlando Magic’s 2012 season ticket renewal campaign. The renewal site opened with Stuff, the Orlando Magic mascot, writing the person’s name above the video player as it loaded. While the video played, the surrounding characters on what first appeared to be static images came alive and began interacting with each other, dancing to the video, and cheering on the players. Fans could also download a personalized locker room image withtheir last name on the back of the Magic jersey. Ticket holders were directed to their personalized renewal website via email and direct mail invoices. The custom built renewal website guided ticket holders through the process of choosing how to distribute their game credits (a result of the 2011 NBA lockout), new member benefits, renew their current seats and parking, and secure their playoff tickets. Program components included strategy, creative conceptualization, video production, email deployment, print fulfillment, design, development and programming.
For the new business ticket sale campaign, a mirror of the BeRenewed website was developed, titled BeMagic. The new business acquisition website featured the different ticket options and was used to capture additional prospect information.
